Agreement and website scope

By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website. These terms apply to the public website, portfolio, planning resources, search, and inquiry-submission tools operated for Vasu’s Portraits and Candids.

The website provides general information about photography services, published work, service areas, planning, and ways to make contact. It is not a substitute for the quote and signed agreement governing a specific session.

Information and availability

Reasonable care is taken to keep published business details and service descriptions accurate. Photography availability, locations, travel, weather, permits, pricing, delivery options, and service details can change. Website content is informational and does not create a promise that a particular date, location, photograph, style, or service is available.

Inquiries are not bookings

Submitting, copying, emailing, or otherwise sending an inquiry does not reserve a date, establish a photographer-client relationship, or guarantee a response, quote, or availability. A date is booked only after the required scope, price, travel, intended use, timing, payment terms, cancellation terms, releases, and session agreement are accepted through the process Vasu provides and any required initial payment has cleared.

Quotes, payments, cancellations, and delivery

Website descriptions are general. A quote may depend on the type of photography, Arkansas location, travel, timing, number of people, intended use, requested deliverables, permits, access needs, and other requirements. Payment schedules, retainers, taxes, rescheduling, cancellation, weather, image selection, editing, archive periods, delivery, print rights, commercial usage, and refunds are defined in the applicable quote and signed session agreement.

If website copy conflicts with an accepted written quote or signed session agreement, the signed agreement controls for that booking.

Messages and information you provide

When contacting the business, provide information that is accurate and that you are authorized to share. Do not send unlawful material, malicious code, another person’s sensitive information without authority, or financial, medical, account, or government-identification information in an initial inquiry. Information handling is described in the Privacy Policy.

Portfolio, copyright, and permitted use

Unless a specific credit states otherwise, the photographs, written copy, selection, design, branding, and other original website content are owned by or used with permission of Vasu’s Portraits and Candids and are protected by applicable intellectual-property and other laws.

You may view the website and share links to its public pages for personal, noncommercial reference. You may not download, copy, scrape, republish, sell, license, modify, remove credits or watermarks, create derivative works from, use for advertising, use to train or evaluate an artificial-intelligence system, or otherwise exploit photographs or original content without written permission and all rights required from depicted people.

Respect for depicted people

Do not use the portfolio to identify, profile, harass, impersonate, exploit, or infer private or sensitive information about anyone shown. Do not claim that a depicted person endorses a product, service, political position, organization, or cause. Client permissions, model releases, gallery access, and publication rights are governed by the relevant written agreements rather than by public access to this website.

Acceptable use and website security

Do not interfere with the website or another visitor’s use; bypass access or security controls; probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization; introduce malicious code; overload the service; automate abusive requests; impersonate another person or business; submit spam; or use the website for fraudulent, misleading, harassing, exploitative, or unlawful activity.

Ordinary search-engine indexing that follows published crawl instructions is permitted. Public availability does not grant permission to reproduce copyrighted photographs or other protected content.

Third-party services and links

The website links to services operated independently by others, including Cloudflare, email providers, Google Maps and reviews, and Instagram. Future client agreements may identify separate contract, payment, scheduling, or gallery providers. Each third party controls its own availability, security, accessibility, content, terms, and privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement of all third-party content.

Website availability and disclaimers

The website is provided on an “as available” basis. Reasonable care is taken with accuracy, security, accessibility, and performance, but uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, compatibility with every device, and complete freedom from errors or harmful third-party activity cannot be guaranteed.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies, responsibilities, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Photography-service warranties or remedies, if any, are stated in the applicable signed agreement.

Governing law and disputes

These website terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law must apply. Any dispute concerning only these website terms will be handled in a court with proper jurisdiction in Arkansas, subject to any nonwaivable rights or procedures that apply.

Severability and no waiver

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. A delay or failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the website, business practices, or applicable requirements change. The date on this page identifies the published version. Changes apply prospectively when posted and do not replace the terms of an already signed photography agreement.
